About two weeks ago. And we’ll tell you all about it soon. It’s a fun story! You’ll like it! But Techcrunch kind of spilled the beans just now, so we thought we’d let our friends here know today.

I just got my first two notifications in something like a year - I guess that’s a good sign?

Fantastic… fair play to you

Why did you stick up that link to tech crunch, it’s a bit slating and highlights you built something that didn’t work. Anyway hope you made a bit of cash from it.

Hi Pete,
I mentioned the Techcrunch post to give some context to this oddly vacuous post—we would have waited to write up the full story if the news hadn’t already got out.
Qwitter is under entirely new management. We have nothing to do with it’s re-launch and any problems that may have arisen. But I’m sure they’re just temporary hiccups anyway.

This is bad news, guys. I have already seen friends who had signed up for the service and left it who are complaining about now receiving more emails from Quitter and not being able to leave it. Not sure whether you still have control over it, but it seems whoever has purchased it from you has less-than-great intentions for its newly-acquired product.

Thanks, everyone.

Hi Pat,
I wouldn’t agree that it’s bad news! But I am upset that people appear to be getting spammed. I’ve been assured that the problem is temporary. The new owners and managers of the app—it’s completely out of our hands—are nice guys. I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t do anything nasty on purpose.
